Due to growing overseas working commitments, particularly with the broadcast of the modern Olympic Games, Artstar Technologies are no longer offering services for game consoles.

I must make it perfectly clear that the reason for terminating console services is purely a customer service decision. As my working commitments are growing and my presence in Australia is diminishing, this means that in the event that any warranty needs to be honoured, I would not be around to provide you with the high level of support this business has always taken pride in. It would be unfair to you and unprofessional on my part to simply "take the money and run". I do apologise for my decision but it is the right thing to do by you, the important customer.

The electronics design and prototyping arm on which Artstar Technologies was founded in 1998, however, will continue as usual.

From Artstar Technologies, I would personally like to thank the thousands of loyal customers for supporting me and for making the games console side of the business the most successful venture this business has taken yet. I will be happy to answer any telephone queries regarding your consoles as a token of my appreciation.

The intended purpose of this chip is to aid in the use of your Playstation to play imports and backups of software that YOU LEGALLY OWN, as is allowed by law. Artstar Technologies accepts no responsibility for the use of this device to play copies of games that you do not own. Support the authors of all software!

Using the chip to modify your console will void your warranty. As with any modification, improper use and/or installation could damage your Playstation and anything connected to it. It is for this reason, Artstar Technologies will not be responsible for damages caused by modification to units not personally modified by the staff of Artstar Technologies. All chips are verified and tested in actual Playstation units to ensure correct operation before shipping and the limit of Artstar Technologies’ liability shall be that you receive a functional chip. Furthermore, the user, by installing this chip (and therefore, modifying his/her unit) agrees to assume all risk and responsibilities thereof. Users not agreeing with this may return only if this product is unused and sealed in its original packaging for a refund of the purchase price.

The code in any of these chips/devices/modules are not programmed by nor produced nor supplied by Sony Corporation or any of its representatives or affiliates. This modification is neither endorsed, nor sanctioned, by Sony Computer Entertainment of America nor Sony Computer Entertainment of Europe and as such, they bear no responsibilities for the use of this modification with their product.
